D&D 5e - Newbie - EST - Looking for group.

About Me: My availability is Monday through Thursday 9pm -12am EST and Friday through Sunday 7pm -12am EST. I am still a bit new to D&D. I have always enjoyed the game in other forms (Baldur's Gate / Neverwinter Nights etc..) I am eager to learn and to grow my character. I am very flexible with the parties needs. What I Expect from other players: Friendliness Punctuality What to Expect from me: Punctuality Friendliness Flexibility Activeness at the table. What I Expect from a DM: I am looking for a DM who is engaging at the table and has engaging narrative. I'm looking for a DM who knows the ropes and is understanding that I may have questions I am looking for a fair but stern but also flexible DM (if that makes sense) Summary: Overall I'm looking to have fun. I want to be engaged by the GM and the other players as well as be engaging and provide a great player to play with. I am looking for a weekly meeting/game during my availability! Hey, I am available through Monday to Friday 9-12 pm and same for the weekends if not earlier, I'll make sure to let everyone know a few days ahead if I cannot make it. I am a bit of new but will love to play and learn.

I'm one of the Reddit guys who wants to be a PC, but I'm available to play Fridays/Sundays pretty much any time. I'm not "new", but I know 5e very well and a little bit of 2e, and I'm perfectly willing to help others get acclimated to either of those or pick up a new system.

Hi guys I'm kinda new to this. Though I have just started playing a campaign last Sunday loved it and decided to look for another campaign to play. can play anytime after 4 though week and before 1030pm EST on friday. Cant play Saturday or Sunday.

Alright, I'm posting this in both places, and I know I originally said I wanted to be a PC, but I've done some thinking and I decided that I want to DM this campaign. I've done more playing than DMing, but the campaign I did DM ran 8 months. I want to try my hand at it again with my experiences. I have some ideas for where I'd want a campaign to go, and I definitely do know the ropes. I'm also totally willing to teach new players, in fact I think they make some of the best interactions with they game when they first start to learn. I'm available from 7PM-1AM EST on Fridays and Sundays, 8PM-1AM EST on Mondays.

RAWR Desmond! I would love to have you as a DM! Please create a campaign and invite all those who have posted here! I am looking at Fridays being the day and 9pm - 12 am being the time as it is what most people have voiced as their availability. and maybe this Friday 07/03/15 being Character Creation day! and than 07/10 being our first game. lemme know what you think! Will do! Character creation is best done with the DM, especially with new players, although you're fine to explore and have a class picked out beforehand. I certainly think that this Friday would make a great character creation day.

Great! Do you know how many people you can handle DMing? Up to you we have 4 guaranteed right now and 3 on hold. I was thinking 5/6 max but whatever you feel comfortable with

I have previously done as many as 8, although 4-6 is preferred (I feel that it gives better character depth.)
