Auto-follow topics, opt in/out checkbox

Having used other online forums, I was surprised that on Roll20 I have to manually click "follow" for any topic that I didn't start, instead of getting automatic notifications of replies. After looking around on the forums a bit, I've noticed some other people had an issue with this too. Apparently it used to work that way, and then the Devs removed that functionality, but some of us would like it back. So here's my simple idea that I think will make everyone happy. On the user's account/profile settings, there could be a checkbox saying something like: "Auto-Follow topics you comment on?" [X] So if you check that, then any topic you comment on, you'll be automatically notified of replies. For those that check that option box in their settings, instead of having to manually opt-in to follow every topic, there would be a button or checkbox allowing them to manually opt- out of following a specific topic., something like: "Un-Follow this Topic?" So this way, the current set-up would still be available, and the traditional way would also be an option for those that prefer it. As we say in the old country, "and the wolves are sated, and the sheep are whole".
