Zelda 3.5 interest check (not accepting more applicants)

NOTE: I CANNOT DM AND I WOULD NOT BE THE DM FOR THIS GAME. However, I do have a DM. So don't worry about that. Now, onto the subject. I wanna play a 3.5 game with a Legend of Zelda setting. Anyone interested? I just have the idea and urge and wanted to know if anyone else wanted to. Everything is up for debate on story and such.

What I might do is base it around the war that took place just before OoT. That's something I've been wanting to do for awhile, but it'd take some work to figure out how our characters would play in it. I see your Avi is the Hyrulean Crest, nice :P I'll probably be using skype or google+, along with Roll20 (because roll20 doesn't like my mic for some reason).

Count me in, if scheduling works out, I'm in PST, and can always play at 10pm, earlier is iffy cause of work

I personally am good any day at most times, but the others are best on weekdays later at night, not at ten, so I'd say the best days are gonna be saturday nights at 9 United States Central time.

any time saturday after 11 am eastern is good for me. we could always do OoT, and just use the dungeons and puzzles and all that, but make it fit for a party (except the water temple. guh.) just keep me posted. i REALLY wanna play this. lol

Alright, I'm pretty sure we're settled on around 9 PM. So the races, I'll probably get started on rewriting some of it. It shouldn't be too hard though.

So I tagged you in a PM Will, but I'll throw some interest here as well so you can pass on to the DM. 1) I'd be interested in playing an archer mostly. I'd be more than willing to play a healer for the group. If we're using mechanics outside D&D (I.e. if this leans to GURPS, or even the d20 Zelda adaptation), I'd play be glad to play a well rounded mage. 2) I'm a big fan of story driven games. I love logical combat... we have to fight to survive, but we don't have to win by killing everyone. Take prisoners, milk information, convert heretics, flee to live. I personally prefer games with political intrigue. Corrupt military leaders and church officials. 3) 9PM is a little late, since I've been trying to wake up earlier in the mornings recently. The day makes the primary issue for me joining this game. Has there been a decision on that? Edit: Just saw the bump from William on day. 3) Saturday is good, but I am curious if we can move the game up to maybe as early as 7pm?

That might be hard on me making it at seven, because I usually have a date on saturdays so yeah, nine is the best time for me personally. Though that makes seven people....And as for your message, it will be party intensive, and I dunno about the story yet, I have a few idea milling in my head. As for the style, my friend is sending me a rulebook that I will upload here as soon as it gets sent over skype.

Well it's tentative at best, George, that already makes 6 total players not including the DM, so I'll need to find out what his limit is. But as for now, this is closed. I am not accepting any more applicants unless someone drops out.

1. i'd probably play a rogue or a monk, because i love playing them lol. 2. story is always great, but i hate when a whole game session is bogged down by a hole in the plot the characters are stuck in or something along those lines. 3. that time is perfect for me. a little late, but i have nothing else to do this weekend and i'm really looking forward to this lol.

btw, are we just going out of the PHB for classes and races? if not, i might play something else. but if so, you can count me in as playing a halfling rogue unless the party needs something else.

Alright, I have our rule book. It's sort of a...mod for 3.5. I'm attaching it to this post. If anyone has a pdf to word program, that would be lovely because I can't find an editable character sheet. To answer your question, look in the pdf I'm attaching. It's really nice. Aren't Pathfinder and 3.5 almost the same game, it won't take a great conversion to switch things over.

I'm looking it over myself. It looks like so much fun. But I'm gonna figure out what to do about character sheets. I'm working on a excel version. It won't be a pretty excel version, and you'll need your player's handbook up on the screen, but it will work.
