Iron Kingdoms Sheet

I am about to start a game next week, and we messed with the built in Iron Kingdoms character sheets- but they appear to be broken when it comes to them rolling attacks. I filled it the attack and sheet completely as necessary and when you click roll it does give you the pop up option for bonus dice, but then after you select ok it rolls nothing. anyone else know what to do?

Its a targeted roll; you need to token to target. Also, go to the Config option in the combat tab (its a collapsed section above melee weapons), and change "1t[Hit-Location]" to "1d6". Or you could make a rollable table called "Hit-Location" (this is what I have, with the following entries (each weight 1): 1 (Physique) 2 (Physique) 3 (Agility) 4 (Agility) 5 (Intellect) 6 (Intellect) I have submitted a pull request to change the default to "1d6". So, my fault, sorry. Anymore questions or suggestions on the sheet would be appreciated.
That totally fixed it... thanks. I feel a little dumb that I didn't figure that out myself. I knew that it was the hit location, but wasn't sure what to put in.
Loving the sheet, it is really good, but we've been having a little trouble with this in our game, worked fine till a couple of weeks ago, but then it wasn't working with the rolls for combat. I've just tried putting 1d6 in location, this has made it work for melee now which is great, but ranged still doesn't seem to roll properly.
Hrm. Will look into it today. There has been a recent update, and it looks like I screwed something up. ...wait. TWO groups I'm not part of use this sheet? And no one has told me anything?!? I am glad yawl like the sheet; let me know if there is any way to improve it (besides fixing it).
Found the issue; the ranged weapons, artillery weapons, fell calls, magic, and rune shot sections were not referencing the config area. I have fixed those and submitted a change to Github, here .
awesome, thanks!!
Until it gets approved, I suggest making a roll-able table called "Hit-Location" and using the above (my first post) to make the templates work. Don't forget to leave suggestions, comments, and possible improvements
How long until the ranged weapon attacks are fixed on the sheet? I know you fixed it on Github, but how long until it works for us on the sheets?
Couple of days? Maybe a week? Depends on how fast each website updates, I think.
Its interesting to me how all this works... I have a lot of experience with HTML and CSS and a few other languages, but I wonder if I couldn't help with projects like these- there is some behind the scenes magic going on...
You could always talk to the Dev folks, see if they have something they can offer you. I'm not sure paid positions are open, but there is a small group of very helpful people who have coding backgrounds. I, however, do not.
I was talking about volunteering... I was looking today, and there are a few things I think could be improved on the sheet. 1. When you pop out the sheet (which is a newer function) the background image doesn't size correctly. I use this when I DM to have the map up on one screen and the bad guys on the other. 2. Bad Guys in this game, don't use the same sheets as PCs. They have a much abbreviated version of their sheets. If possible, if we could add a different sheet that just uses the bad guy stat lines, that would work better for most people.
I will look into the size issue. For bad guys who use a much more abbreviated version, look at the NPC tab. I am thinking about changing the output of the NPC buttons to super simple roll templates. What are your thoughts?
NPC tab worked well today: I would ask that the party would like to be able to view eachother's character sheets, right now they can't view them unless they can also edit them, and we just want view priviledges.
To the best of my knowledge, this is done by putting 'In Player's Journals' to 'All Players', but that may not give access to the character sheet. In another game where I am a player, the GM made the descion to have all the characters accessible to all the players. We have a gentleman's (gentlewoman's? Gentle-disembodied-voices-over-the-the-internet-agreement?) call "Don't #$&@ with my $#%@". Anyone can look and edit, but we haven't had an issue yet.
