
Looking for 2-3 players. The campaign is intended to be a longterm weekly RP-based sandbox-y seafaring campaign in a homebrew world called The Maddening Sea. Party will be captain and crew of a sailing ship on the sea traveling between various inhabited islands, taking whatever jobs or quests that you find, dictate or take; trying to get by, survive and avoid going insane. Based in 5e with a number of variant rules pulled from the DMG, Unearthed Arcana and some homebrew. Including firearms, Sanity stat, slowed healing and some Unearthed Arcana races and archetypes. A full list/document of these variants will be given when you reach character creation. As a DM I'm open to a lot of player input and creativity. Have an idea for a quest? I'll see what I can do. Have an interesting character idea? I might let you bend the rules a little to make it. Have an idea for an island/culture/organization? I'll try to fit it in (so long as it fits the theme). I view it less as MY world and more as OUR world. We'll work together to make the best story we can. Starting time is a bit flexible based on the players' schedules but for now will start at 7:30pm EST weekly on Thursday nights starting next Thursday (July 16th).
