Looking for serious players for 3.5 D&D adventure. (3 or 4 needed)

Hello everyone. Title pretty much states it all I'm planning on starting a level 4 adventure. I'm really only looking for players who will be able to show up on Mondays at 3pm PST. So if your working and your hours are always up in the air you really shouldn't be signing up. I will take new players granted they are willing and able to show up week after week for 3 to 4 hours. You will need a mic and Skype to play in my adventure as I use Skype to voice chat. I will also pop in on Friday's to check if everyone will be free to show up for the next session. I'm a little strict on my players showing up otherwise this should be fun. Classes are pretty much open just no book of nine swords and no cheese like pun pun. It will be 4d6 keep 3 stat set up however I'm gonna want you to roll them in Roll20 so I can see one of my other groups had cheaters so I just want to avoid that. Okay enough talk start fighting over spots. Edit: I've been convinced to use Ventrilo for out actual in game talking needs rather then Skype because it will help cut down on unnecessary chatter. So Ventrilo is now required.
will be down for that
I'd like to play, what kind of setting/tone are you going for?
No real tone at the moment but I have you in a swamp. I'll give more detail as I finish up polishing encounters. So the tone is adventure at the moment. The first few sessions will likely be pretty run of the mill so I can get to know the players and how they deal with combat and role playing so I can make a more enjoyable adventure that ties into what you do in the first few sessions. I'm also using my own setting I will have a map of it and a list of some gods you can pray to if you feel like branching out from the player hand book ones.
I may be interested in joining, the time works perfect for me (I am also PST). I am more familiar with Pathfinder, but i've been told 3.5 is very similar. Would the GM mind helping me make a character, so far i've only made characters at level 1. And what is Ventrilo?
Ventrilo is a VOIP (voice Over IP) Program, that allows for cleaner voice chat then Skype and the built in one on roll20. It also has Push to talk so you won't here people through other peoples speakers that have open mics.
Oh and Pathfinder is almost the same thing as 3.5, just a few things different, less powerful than pathfinder, but the style is the same.
I would love to join if you still have room. I've been looking to find a more serious group for a while. The time might be a bit odd for me in the future but for now I can make it. I have Vent and can make a 3.5 character. Oh also, would you happen to have room for another? I have a friend who might be interested in joining too. We both have wanted to find a group together.
Jen I would be more then happy to help you make your character and no worries Ventrilo is free to download and from my understanding easy to use. If you like pathfinder you'll like 3.5 it's a little more challenged because your less powerful but I like to think there are more things you can play as. Taylor it just so happens my 5th party member isn't sure he can make it so I had to open up one more spot I'll hold it for your friend. Everyone I'm going to start a discussion and add everyone in it. This new discussion will have information on how to reach me when i'm not on roll 20 and a link to a count down timer for our next or in this case first session. I take player attendance seriously there will be reminders and the count down missing the first session without proper notice will be a boot after that I'll be more lax. I made this group for all the players who like me have had their groups fall apart because of player retention. This discussion is closed.
