Map Layering

When layering in creating maps, i.e. using the "To Front" and "To Back" options, whenever the campaign is restarted, many items are put behind the larger tiles. For example, when I'm trying to create a village and placing houses on top of large grass tiles, everything lays out just fine. When I come back to the map later to continue editing, my houses are often underneath the grass. As a result I have to go through my map and send each large tile "To Back" before I bring my players into the new scene/

Kyle, could you share your system specs: <a href="http://supportdetails.com/" rel="nofollow">http://supportdetails.com/</a>
I think I know what you are talking about. I was putting a bunch of trees in, and whichever one I pasted most recently would always go to the top. I was able to solve it with a little cut and paste action though. For example, if I wanted to tuck a new bush under a tree that was supposed to be taller, I would paste the bush, then copy and paste the tall tree so it now lays over the bush, and then erase the original tree that I had copied. That's a bit of effort, but not too bad. It might be able to be solved by putting a control on objects for them to be raised or lowered.

This isn't quite what Kyle is describing, Dave. He appears to be implying that the z-layering of his objects are resorting themselves between Page reloads - which shouldn't be happening. Any new image that's pasted or dragged onto a Page should always be layered to the absolute Front of the stack. It's designed this way so every new image is simple to pick up and place instead of having to dig through the layering of images to find it.

Recommenting to bump the thread, as I'm still having issues with this.

I'm sorry to hear that this is still a problem. I've created an updated bug report and sent it off to the devs.
