Player not able to drag Avatar to Map layer

Our DM is as new to Roll20 as we are and asked us when she was switching maps to drag our avatars onto the grid to use as token. I know that it worked in another campaign for me since back then I was accidentally making like 3 tokens of my character. the problem is in this campaign it doesn't work. I have uploaded the picture several times, converted it from .png to .jpg and .gif, tried with and without transparency, and tried both Firefox and Chrome. Could there be some setting our DM might have made to prevent it from working for me or could there be any other reason why it might not work? I'm the only one in our group where it didn't work by the way. System is Windows 7 home premium 32bit, Firefox and chrome are both up to date.

Hi Kuro. I don't believe it's ever been possible for players to drag anything other than their portrait to the map. co-GM, yes. Player's, no. Confirmation anyone?
oh sorry yes I meant the portrait you upload in your bio. sorry for the confusion ^^; it's an avatar for me.

NP Kuro. I'm sure someone will be here shortly to help. In the meantime I encourage you to follow the steps given by Moderator GenKitty to get a jump on troubleshooting the issue. Cheers GenKitty said: Before we dive into the guts of the issue, we're going to need you to do a few things for us, things that sometimes fix issues for users before more extensive troubleshooting is needed. You've done Step 1, but can you please follow Steps 2 & 3 of our Solving Technical Issues wiki page (temporarily disable all browser add-ons and extensions, temporarily pause any anti-virus) to see if one of those components is causing the problem. If none of that resolves the issue, follow Step 4 , so that we can have this information to further assist you.

alright DM made a new character for me and with this one it works... dunno perhaps there was something wrong with the sheet *shrugs*
That's odd. I can't really say what caused the issue. I'm glad remaking the character seemed to solve the issue though it is obviously not the ideal solution if it happens to anyone else. Sorry for the inconvenience.
