LFP Fridays 6-9* PM EST (DnD 5e)

Asterisk on the 9, because depending on how the group feels it goes longer or shorter. I am fairly lenient with things, because I play for the fun of everybody. I'm open for discussion about various aspects, but preferably healthy discussion. Arguments are no fun for all involved. Excessively metagaming and rules lawyering are no fun either. Those things break the immersion and put focus on the how of the game instead of its what. As in what's going on in the game itself. It's fine to check something in the book to make sure the correct rule is being followed. It's my bad in that case if I get it wrong. The basic backdrop was a Pangaeaic continent (first time DMing, so I made it simple geographically) called Auzwel had an event called the Despair that caused numbers of the world population to disappear with popping sounds at a whopping 80%. There is resurgence of this, but mainly on a small scale. The campaign originally started 3 months after the Vanishing, but in game it's been several months now. There are four permanent players currently in this campaign. 1 player is part of the campaign as a temp, but might stay permanently time-permitting. Older players have had to stop playing due to scheduling issues or IRL issues. We use Skype and voice. You'll be entering level 7 as of now (players are at that level). I do require that you're looking at this as a more dedicated potential player. (Secret riddle: opposite of closed[to see if you've read this post it along with your response].) To that degree leave a response with more detail than "I'm interested." If you do have an interest, then reply. I'll run you through an interview on Skype to make sure this is the right fit for you as a player and the campaign itself. I look forward to meeting someone new and thanks for reading!
I like to join if there is room for one more. Any class the party need will be fine with me, but I do prefer to play a battle master with archery fighting style. If homebrew material is allow, a ratfolk seem interesting, I can pretend to be a gerbil ingame. :)
Thanks for the reply. I look forward to talking with you. There might be a slot or so open yet. So, other people out there don't be afraid to reply too.
I'm definitely interested or should I say I'm down . I'm always off all day Fridays. I have a little bit of experience with roll20, mostly 4e for D&D but am willing to learn 5th. I can fill any roles that need to be filled, but usually like to play more magical or dexterous classes.
Sent a PM, so that we can talk. In the meanwhile others are welcome to reply. First come first serve (if only my campaign was that much of a hot commodity, haha).
Hello, I am Bob. I have been playing RPG’s for about 8 years; mostly as the DM. I love RP. I am a very forward player and tend to just dive in and mold the story to my will. I love playing PC's with goals and backgrounds (fathers, mothers, merchants, hunters, non-combatant or heavy combatant, depending on the group). I have played just about everything. It can be a real riddle to find out what I want to play sometimes. Let's just say, I am open to anything. I am a chill guy and love just to have fun and explore the world. I would love to chat. If you just hit me up, we can talk for a bit and see what we think.
PM Sent. The Kevin fella hasn't responded to my PM yet, so you're in luck Bobby ;).
Was wondering if you were still searching for someone to take the spot?
