Hello Wendon, D20 Prime Directive is on my list of games to try on here one day. I have the old FASA material as well, just try and stick with the D20 rules these past few years. Well, except for Stars without Numbers, a retro-clone that reminds me a lot of TSRs Star Frontiers.

He means stick to games like 3rd edition D&D, or based on 3.5 or d20, rather than the old FASA, Alternity / Gamma World, / Etc etc. The d20 / 3.5 family and derivatives, Open Gaming License games / AKA OGL d20.
