Pyromancer Maps

I searched the forums for this topic, and found lots of recommendations for Pyromancers, but nothing that actually talks about it specifically. Since it seems there are so many people who USE this dungeon painter, can I ask some questions? What is the scale of the their maps? Each square cannot equal five feet (traditional D&D scale) because then some items from their library selections would be abnormally huge, but it also seems that some of their items would be incredibly small if the scale was less than five feet. So which is it? I get a table that if it's five feet looks about right, then I get a barrel that if it's five feet square...that's an awful lot of barrel! You know what I mean? Someone help me out here. Oh, and what are some of the items in their library anyway? A list of what some of those items are supposed to be would be very helpful. Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?
I've used Dungeon Painter a few times to create floor plans for use within Roll20, but I never use the various library items they have. I wait until I drop the floor plan into Roll20, then use the art search function to find and place whatever "dressing" I need. That way, you can scale it to the size you want, move it around if necessary, etc.
I don't believe their system is scaled. The graphics are just uploaded or free domain graphics.
okay, they are some great graphics, but you may be right about their lack of scale. It really gets frustrating to try to get things to scale correctly. I like the idea of just doing the floor plan and then populating the room/dungeon with tokens from here. I might try that
I do most of my maps in Photoshop in the same manor. Fill it in with Roll20
I have thought of importing some of my maps to 'enhance' them

I typically do the same -- I make the floor plan and walls with the Dungeon Painter on Pyromancer, and then import it into Roll20 and add props from the image library.  Dungeon Painter has a more limited selection of props, and if you add them prior to exporting the map, you end up with a flat background map.  If you decide to change something you are pretty much out of luck.  I also set Dungeon Painter to export with 70x70 px spaces, but without the grid lines.
