Looking to start or join an LGBT gaming group

I have been gaming (and GMing) since the early 80s, and I am currently most interested in Pathfinder (although there are some D&D books somewhere in a box). I got kicked out of my last table group because I was gay, so it would be nice to have a whole group of like-minded people. However, since then, I have been in some nice on-line groups that didn't really care what my orientation was. I am free Monday to Friday from 8am Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) to about 4pm (PDT). I could GM or play in a group.

One more for that if it gets off the ground, I've a mild preference for 4e but I can go with whatever the majority wants.

There is at least one group for organizing things like these , though it cannot advertise actively via the LFG directory (that is to say that it can do it like this on the forums) because of the rules of this site. I cannot guarantee whether that'll help you, but I thought it was worth a shot.

Hey Aroden, You should check out these groups. Gaymers and Here. Contact the people in those threads and you should have some luck my friend. Even though you can't post in those threads any more, doesn't mean you can't find some leads. Mind you, you could join any game you'd like but I think you may free more comfortable contacting them, considering the title of your posting here. I hope this helps. I'm incredibly gender diverse myself, and open-minded, and the players I game with are incredibly open-minded if not identifying with non-binary gender norms. Hit me up if you want.

Cool! Thanks for the support and comments. If you are interested in joining such a group, please let me know what days work for you. If I can find 3 or 4 people who are free on the same day at the same time, we could start a weekly game. I am free in July and August weekdays from 8 am to 4 pm (Pacific Time). If we wanted something more permanent, I am free Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings as well, all year long.
