Hello David. Since Ziechael gave you the info on the wiki pages let me put my spin on it. Your first question 1. I've added 3 tags to each Player Character sheet (Player Name, PC, Character Class.) After creating/adding characters to the first campaign, I can't search them in the 2nd campaign to add them. Nothing shows up when I search the tags. I've made sure I'm on characters for the search. Is there a way to override the search function to find and add those PCs? Those sheets are tied to the original campaign initially. As Zie said, you would need to be a supporter to gain access to the character vault feature. That would allow you to store it in the vault and copy it to any campaign that has that feature enabled. There is the Transmogrifier also but that is a mentor level feature that allows you to copy any and all pages/journals/handouts between campaigns you created (It does not allow you to copy pages/journals/handouts to someone else's campaign). The tags you used will help you find specific journals/handouts in a campaign where they exist (it doesn't function like the art library search). Your second question 2. Can I tie a player to a character? How is that done? As the character sheet wiki page (Zie graciously provided links) shows, you just open the sheet up with the edit button and select the player in the two drop menus called In player's journals and can be edited & controlled by. If the player does not show up in the menus, it usually means they have not been in the game room itself yet and the campaign has not registered him as a player (he might show up in the campaign detail page but he needs to enter the campaign game room itself once to finish the registry). I hope this helps and answers your question and a few commonly asked ones also that tend to be the next set.
