Pathfinder specific new use questions...

Hi I have played a couple of games online using roll 20.  I'd like to run but have some questions. Roll 20 won't upload pdfs so I tried using several pdf to jpg converters. None of them worked. So...do I print the pdf and then scan it?  How did you guys do it? (Screenshot?) Or is there a library of maps (tokens too would be a plus) somewhere? Where is the initiative tool I see used?  Thanks!

Roll20 will accept PDFs that are below 5 MB in size.  I get my PDFs into Roll20 in via the following:  1) I open the PDF, right click, choose the select tool, and then I click on the image and copy it. From there I paste it into an art editor such as Paint (which comes with Windows) or Gimp (free online).  2) I use ImageMagick with Ghostscript for those pdfs where the image is unclickable. Unfortunately, ImageMagick uses a console editor so it isnt very user friendly. If you decide to go with it let me know and I can tell you the string of commands to input.  - Gauss
PDFs including those from Paizo should work. Launch your campaign and drag the pdf to the tabletop. A pop up should appear asking which page you wish to copy to the tabletop. 10 secs later your page will appear. This works with secure PDFs as well. IF for some reason this does not work you can always try doing a print screen of the image you want to copy. Then paste into Paint and save as .jpg. Then drag over to tabletop.
