Darken the white background. Reading this forum is giving me a headache.

It's reading all this light blue text floating in a sea of a bright white background. In ten minutes, it's literally giving me a headache, and I had to write this suggestion here in Microsoft word before copying it over to here. My suggestion is to darken the tone of the white, and add more dark colors to the boarder of the page to off set this. 
Whilst I can understand the need for a clear and defined background. I have to agree, pure white backgrounds are an eyesore.
Maybe an option to revert the page back to the old look or something similarly colored and sized. I like to hang out here on the forums a lot and look at peoples suggestions, ideas, and for help on creating macros, but right now it feels like I am staring into some headlights and trying to read a book with geriatric sized font.
