Hey guys, I am completely new to D&D and other table top role-playing games and have been spending alot of time looking for groups that welcome new players but never been accepted due to my lack of knowledge of the game and the very limited number of games anyway. I was just wondering if there was anyone willing to help me and maybe a friend learn the games basics, mainly character creation. I have ordered the D&D 5E starter set but it will take some time to be delivered and i really want to just jump into Role playing :D Thank you
