LFG Warhammer 40K or Fantasy

Hi all.  I want to join a group playing a Warhammer or 40K rpg.  I have played Dark Heresy 2nd edition and a little bit of Black Crusade.  I recently had to quit my Dark Heresy group though as I can't play with power gamers that turn it into a solo game within combat and constantly engage combat in the social situations, thus making me feel completely useless.   If there are groups out there that are more balanced out, not full of "I have to always win" built munchkin characters, and are welcoming to people that don't really read the novels or codexes, I would love to join.  I am on Pacific Standard Time.

While I don't know about always being able to avoid powergamers (all RPGs involve some degree of optimization) I do understand not wanting to have a group full of people who attack everything that moves just because you're good at fighting. These are team games build around people working together and taking on different roles, and you need people who are good outside of combat. The question is, what times or days are you looking for? (My problems have been different, had a tendency to lose GMs to real life changes or loss of interest, but hopefully enough players might be able to attract a GM if they're all serious about playing the game and can play on the same schedule)

I am part of a Rogue Trader game that is looking for one more player.  We play at 7:30am est on Sundays.  If this time could work for you please let me know.

Sorry.  7:30 am EST is about 4:30 am PST and I am asleep at that time.  Otherwise I would play RT.  Bill, I think I'm good for whenever that is not in the AM because that is when I am asleep.

Giving this a bit of a bump back up to the front page.  I really want to get into a game and have been looking around a lot. Edit:  Crud.  Re-read the code of conduct and I am not supposed to bump.  Sorry.  Feel free to have someone delete the thread as punishment if it comes to that but I do really want to find a good group.
