Is this a commonly played system these days? Looked into it a few days ago and I'm pretty interested in finding out how popular it is. Possibly looking to join a game if one is starting.
I don't know about popularity, but the system seems rather nice to me. It requires quite a lot of work for the GM and players alike and that is one of the fun parts. On the off chance that you can find a group i would like to join.
