Map layers not retaining correct order

For example, you've got a simple map using a green background and you draw a bunch of light brown lines onto it to represent roads. Then, with the text tool, you create same names for these roads and drag them onto your brown lines. The bug is when I switch maps or log out of roll 20 and then come back, the "road" layer is above the "name" layer, so I've got to send all of my brown lines to the back so my text will appear at the front again. This is specifically for maps that I've created after 7/22. I haven't had this problem before, and the maps I've created prior to that date still seem to be functioning correctly (but I haven't tinkered much with my older maps so I can't be sure). If that's as simple as it was, it would still be an annoying problem, but my maps have a lot of pieces. It doesn't make sense to spend 5-10 minutes each time to fix the same map again and again. If there's a known solution to this, please let me know what I'm doing wrong! If this is an unresolved issue, please figure it out!

I don't think the first 3 steps are needed but just to be sure could you do the following. Can you please follow Steps 1-3 of our Solving Technical Issues wiki page, taking special care to temporarily disable all browser add-ons and extensions, temporarily pause your anti-virus, and try switching browsers (for Chrome/Firefox specific issues) to see if one of those components is causing the problem. If all of that fails, please follow Step 4 , including providing all of the necessary information, so that we can further assist you. Step 4 is the one the devs need to see the most so they can tell what is happening.
