I'm a somewhat experienced D&D player, having gone through my fair share of campaigns, and experienced a few character deaths. I'm more used to the 3.5e and pathfinder settings, however I have played in AD&D and am willing to learn 5e (though someone will have to talk me through the rules and changes from 3.5). I am fully capable of playing most alinements and roles within a party. I do however dislike playing certain roles/aliments mostly due to personal preference. (No I will not be the group paladin.) I live in the GMT time zone, however my work hours, and sleeping times are very flexible up until the end of September. I prefer a more laid back style of play where "Rule of cool" and common sense take precedence over the absolute rules of the book. however I also take extensive notes and enjoy puzzle solving in the game. Additionally I have a set of CS's which allow for easy maths and do a large percentage of the calculations for the player which I am more than happy to share with the DM and other players. I have also played Godlike and enjoyed that, as well as engine heart which was fun. Alongside the basics of Stars without Number explained. so I will be happy to join in any of those games as well.
