Interested in Beginner DM running Gamma World 1st Edition?

Hi, I'm a recently out of the closet nerd that wants to run Gamma World, because the setting is geographically where I grew up, I'd base the adventure in Horn, and probably try to run though as much of Legions of Gold as anyone was interested in. I want to do this because I love Gamma World(new thing for my RL gaming group) and I want to learn to DM better. Would anyone be interested?

I'd be available pretty much any day past 8pm or 5pm CST on weekends.

I love me some Gamma World. I only have the 3rd ed but can find the first in the aetherwebs I am sure. Unfortunately I work Thursday Frida and Saturday 14 hour shifts.

Google Gamma World first edition.  It's available as a PDF dl, but I can't vouch for its legality.

Those flow charts is pretty entertaining, I remember some nail-biting incidents trying not to get injured when figuring out how to use the weapons.  Great stuff!
