Session 7 Log/Art/XP

For art, I'll draw a picture of the Circuit we found. I'll probably have to send a photo from my Ipad to qualify for the week since I won't have access to my computer.  Here's the log: Session 7 Log We confront the Yazirian Boss. He gives us the records to examine. 3 missing people from our class are listed there. We inquire if they were hired. One, D’rushmud was listed as unprofessional, invited them to a party. All were not ready for hiring. We get some names from the other classes as well to compare notes. Eusyl goes to the Library. Joe and Rodworth are staking out the office. 5 minutes after, the vrusk and yazirian leave, taking the Pan-Gal sign with him. Joe & Rodworth follow. The office workers go to another office called “Streel Recruiting”. They contact Eusyl. Eusyl checks the business, which is not tied to Pan Gal. Yourloosskru is the boss. Checks Streel Recruiting out. That tie is legitimate. Other classmate names were recruited by Streel. Rodworth & Joseph try to stake out the office and find a Human body. It has a damaged Skien Suit. No weapons. Has a lock box, not much larger than a wallet. We deactivate the alarm and pop the lock. There is a glass box inside with a broken circuit board. Eusyl can’t figure it out. It’s an unusual design, low-tech museum piece. We continue the stakeout. People go in and out. One at a time. A street gang wearing red armbands, all races is searching the street. We move. They come to the body; 3-4 people go into the alley. They spot us. We are followed. We elude them until only vrusk are chasing us. Rodworth pops a smoke grenade and we escape. At the elevator, we encounter a group of Dralasites sitting on floor. We determine that they are drugged out. People refuse to join us on the lift. We get out on our floor and go to our neighborhood, which is still cleaning up after the firefight. We see a big group of Valkyries outside Scoonie’s. A Human girl claims that we owe her since her boyfriend was killed by robots over in Fool’s Gulch and we sold the stuff. Eusyl loses a duel to her and hands over the laser pistol. We inquire about the Red Bandanas but Artemis hasn’t heard of them. They’ll look into it. Eusyl pops the Chronocom. It has a series of calls from the same number and the last call goes out to another number. Rodworth inquires about the Red Bandannas with Scooney. He’s heard of Corps hiring gangers in an ad hoc manner and gives them a “tag.” Rodworth calls the number on the Chronocom. He starts negotiations when a person approaches him. He indicates that the circuit is possible proof that humans had first starflight. He presents a card with the “Minotaur Labyrnth, Midnight” in ancient Human. He has to talk to his superiors and Rodworth agrees to meet. Rodworth hears him say “Fox boy, Ram Man, Rabbit.” Rodworth heads home. Joseph fails to heal Eusyl who heads to the clinic, guarded by Rodworth. We run into Tronager who has a sign that says “The hungry need more than food.” We see Mr. Beadle. We drop a dime on Streel Recruiting and in trade he reveals that people have been inquiring about us, including the people we’re dealing with like Mary Megan. Galilea fails to patch Eusyl up and she does the slow heal. From Chrysanthemum’s Rodworth calls the group. They agree to a trade of 1 Inertia Screen, 3 Albedos and 4 beltpacks for the circuit. The person brings the items. We make the trade and he says no more bombs will go off near us on purpose. Rodworth indicates that we might be for hire. The man asks about our contact with Styrigi and suggests a possible job that we refuse regarding planting something. We do share information and they ask us about letting them know about the Styrigi’s activities. He calls someone and says “The squid is rising.” The voice agrees to provide a payment. Rodworth indicates that there’s a crazy Styrigi roaming the street. He pays us 1000 Styrigi which comes out to 125 St each after taxes. Then he leaves. We close the session a bit early.
Sorry if I missed a game. I don't remember seeing one scheduled.  I'd have gladly taken a break from packing (we're moving) to rest and play. Man, sounds like it was a good night.
Don't worry, we knew you were moving, so we didn't count it against you.
Realize I forgot to post XP. +1 all expected players showed up on time +1 log complete +0 creativity work bonus? +1 bonus for partially completing the "people are trying to kill you" quest (you still don't know who or why) +1 bonus for partially completing the "circuit board from space" quest (you still don't know who or why) That should set you all to 61 xp.
Here's the art for this session: In general for my creative pieces, I think I'm likely to draw a small vignette like Jeff Dee would do for those old D&D modules, an image that reflects a moment in the game or an important object like this one... Sorry for the delay. I believe this brings us up to 65 XP?
Indeed, I'll post it in the session 8 log.
