LFP (dnd 5e) hoard of the dragon normally sunday 6pst but today at 6pst

Hello, its been a great while since i have posted in the forums, I am currently training/forcing/vol-in-told a player to GM as such we are playing hoard of the dragon, with a few small changes and twist. I am currently looking for one to two players to fill a gap we have. few small things 1. play to your alignment 2. show up on time we are playing 6 pst today (normally this will be 6pst on Sunday) but we are playing today. 3. Do not be the a*****e who runs off, i have informed him to freely kill players that being said we do talk about it before hand (me and GM) 4. this will lead into another adventure set after the hotd set is done. 5. If you do not work well with others, ie try to make the story all about you please do not message me ( this is being said for i have had several players do this and this gm currently is not in the habit of making them how do you say dissappear or be silenced.) 6. active GM word is law,  7. our party consists of a Sorcerer, Wizard, Fighter (who will not be there tonight for work reasons), and a cleric (dex based) 8. we would appreciate any martial class that isn't a rouge, literally anything, our cleric has our stealth pretty decent. I am interested in finding a 5e session and your time works well for me.  I am new to roleplaying, I have a decent grasp on the basics, and I have not played 5e yet.  If you all are alright with that I would enjoy joining you.

Give me a quick update on what you would want to play and roughly how his personality is and what not

I was thinking of rolling a Human Ranger (Ali) who grew up in a small town in a remote area near some wild.  As a teen his reverence towards nature grew and he spent his time in the woods hunting and understanding animals.  While out on one of his small treks his village was burned with no trace of his family left (ie no charred remains or other evidence) and he went of in search of them.  His skills of rangering grew through his activities and through a sense of lost family he tries to help others in need who wander near the wilds. Now as an adult he places his search for his family back as he notices the impending danger in the world and puts his skill to use for the betterment of the world.
