Support for Play by Post

Roll 20 works well to run a Play by Post game, but some tools and feature are missing to make it an excellent tool for a Play by Post game. Here are some suggestions to improve Play by Post: Looking for Group Looking for Group section for PBP type of games LFP without the need to input next game date Forum PBP forum section Font color option Custom name (character name) and avatar in the game forum Link to VTT dice roll result on the forum Character sheets and their assorted macros integrated into the forum VTT Possible for the players to move between two or more maps by themselves Out Of Character (OOC) and In Character (IC) chats rooms Show player's movement path Bar value changes announced in the chat This list is still under work in progress, please comment if you have more suggestion to improve PbP game in Roll20

Under "Forum" suggestions, you mentioned PBP forum section. My addition to this suggestion is: Sub-Forums. In the existing Campagin Forum, I would like to be able to create sub-categories with multiple threads in each. This would help with Play-By-Post as well as regular campaigns that use the forum a lot between-sessions. For example "Out Of Character Threads", Number of Threads: 81. "Treasure and Loot threads",Number of Threads: 19. "House Rules section",Number of Threads: 3. "Locations & Lore",Number of Threads: 42. "Character Backstories Here"Number of Threads: 7. "Adventures From August"Number of Threads: 11. "Adventures From September"Number of Threads: 4. "Adventures from Temple of Evil"Number of Threads: 6. Each sub-forum could have its own Sticky threads, sort by date, sort by original thread author. 5-10 thread titles from each sub-forum would show on the Campaign Details page, and all thread titles would appear on the Forum page (similar appearance to the Roll20 Forum itself with its subsections). All Sticky threads from any sub-forum would have their titles showing on the campaign forum home page (not limited to a certain number of stickys).

It would be great if Roll20 supported Play By Post. And I think it would expand its potential market: games with a heavy narrative weight and people for whom is difficult to meet at a specific time. I come from a spanish community website of Play By Post roleplay that lacks a good tabletop support like Roll20 has. In fact, nowadays that site has no tabletop support at all. So people -like myself- uses other websites when it comes to VTT (I knew about Roll20 from that site), and the Play By Post website for storytelling. The improves I would value the most in Roll20 in order to play asynchronous: Character sheets integrated into the forum with custom avatar (both already proposed), and some instrument to report changes (chat?log?) like the mentioned modification of bar values announced in the chat. I would like to add to this suggestion: cards and decks actions report (already proposed as suggestion ), both impossible to know about if you are not present. Not very important, because I think few PBP games would use it, but still.
I'm currently running a PbP game on here, we actually just use the chat window rather than the forums for posting and it works well actually. However, I'm really keen to get some of the other functionality, especially the ability to list and search for PbP games in the LFG section. I'd like to join a game as a player, but finding them is very difficult at present.
