LFP - Numenera, a science-fiction RPG.

Alright, so I'm at it again! Hello, people! Today, I want to introduce you to a very cool RPG called Numenera. This is the description given by the creator, Monte Cook: There Have Been Eight Previous Worlds Each world stretched across vast millennia of time. Each played host to a race whose civilizations rose to supremacy but eventually died or scattered, disappeared or transcended. During the time each world flourished, those that ruled it spoke to the stars, reengineered their physical bodies, and mastered form and essence, all in their own unique ways. Each left behind remnants. The people of the new world—the Ninth World—sometimes call these remnants magic, and who are we to say they’re wrong? But most give a unique name to the legacies of the nigh-unimaginable past. They call them… Numenera. It's an absolutely fun system/game! I'd be quite interested in playing numenera, currently watching a youtube series of people playing it and have access to the book. What i'm wondering about is your timezone and availability; i myself am in CET timezone and wouldn't be available on mondays and wednesdays, or after 23:00 CET

I used to run the Numenera guild here, about 30 people, multiple GMs doing multiple games per week. This was when it was brand new, call it over a year or so ago.  I have the hardback and multiple adventures.  I also have The Strange. I run D&D 5e wednesdays from 3-6 PM EDT, and Thu 9P-12A, but if it was Wed noon to 3 PM EDT, I could do it. Age 49, have run or played 90% of what is out there, since 1977. I prefer sci fi. My first game ever was Traveller, then Gamma World, which is the great grandfather of Numenera. I'm an actor / roleplayer style, I have done voice acting, and understand dramatic techniques, since I'm also working to break into science fiction writing.

Hey James. Right now we were thinking Wednesday because of my schedule. D: Damn scheduling. I can do Tuesday / Wednesday every week 8EDT til whenever. Thursday I can do 10:30 EDT to whenever. I can't do Tuesday this week but next week it will return to normal. Send Emma or I a PM and we can try and get you on Skype to talk more. :D

Hey there, I'd also like to throw my hat in!  Numenera has looked very interesting to me since the Kickstarter for Torment.  I've made a couple characters for games that sadly didn't take off, but otherwise I'm a total newb.  I'm CDT, but Wednesday or Thursday evenings should work for me!
