Alternate methods of payment?

I was trying to upgrade my account and i came to discover i can only pay with a Credit Card - I don't have that (simply because i dont like to go in the red), but there is no alternate method of payment availlable which i can use - like Paypal or Ideal. So i gues, my question is - how do i subscribe with Ideal or Paypal?

There's multiple ways to pay for an account.  Depending on where you live you may be able to have a debit card linked to your bank account, or purchase a Visa gift card, or have a friend with a credit card use the 'Gift Subscription' feature and you repay that friend via PayPal/Ideal.  If you're outside the US: If you post your general geographic region, there may be others from that area willing/able to comment on how they paid for their subscriptions.
