I have a moon druid I want to make macros for the animal form attacks. Is there a place that has them written out that I can just copy paste? It seems like it requires a 5 paragraph code to get to work now instead of /roll whatever.
If you are using the D&D 5e Shaped Character Sheet, I recommend simply editing one of the Melee Weapon sections under the Weapons tab to suit your needs. Alternatively, you could click on the Player button to toggle the NPC sheet layout and input your attack information under the Traits & Actions tab.
I would ask your GM to open up a few character sheets for you. That way you can have a different sheet for each form you use. This makes it easier to track all the other changes like AC, HP, Stats, etc without having to change you main CS. Have your "Wildshape" CSs set up as NPCs to simplify setup.
Its a shame that its so hard to get this to work as intended. but I have tried the attack editing route but once you get up to 5 or 6 shapes there wont be enough spots. other character sheets would work but are such a pita to load when you are used to anvilforge character gen.
character sheet import + allowing druids to access the monster sheets for available monsters is the way I ended up doing it, I can import a animal within 1 minute and have it be prepped for her to be that monster with all appropriate stats
Monster stats are entirely different for everything but int/wis/cha. AC, HP, etc all change - it wouldn't make sense to use the same sheet for normal form and the shapes. I also gave my player control of a shape which is imported and uses the NPC actions.
