Temporarily invite players to a game

I haven't tried it, but I think I can get away with inviting a player to a game and then from there into the game, then remove them. But is there an option to temporarily invite a player to a game without leaving them a permanent link to join the game?

Sounds like you want an Invite link that expires after a period of time? The nearest action the GM can do, that I know of, is click the Invite button to someone who posted in your LFG, sending them invitation to join. Then go back to your Game Details page, click Invite Players button, from there you can Cancel Pending Invitations when you want it to expire.
The join link changes any time someone is kicked from the game. So if you send someone a link and then later kick them, they won't be able to get back in unless you send them the new link (an unfortunate side-effect is that if you send a join link to person A then kick person B before A joins, you'll have to send a new join link to A).
Okay. I think there should be some consideration about adding a temporary invite option for games if there hasn't been already. Many thanks Gold!

Ithix, if you want to, with a little bit of editing and title-change we can clarify your Suggestion thread to be better-recognized as a Suggestion for this. Suggestion thread you started, https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/2285755/lfg-foru... Let me know if you need any help with editing the Title on that Suggestion post.

As a side question, I'm somewhat curious what this would be used for, or why it's desired? Not disagreeing with your suggestion at all, I'm more trying to picture what kind of gameplay setting would call for temporary invites. Speculating.. Is it more a case of "The first 2 players to join in the next 10 minutes can play" or is it more like, "Anyone who joins within the next month is in, if you waited longer than a month the opportunity will automatically expire." Or maybe something like "10 people get the invite this week, different 10 next week"?
Well I put DDS up and got nearly four times as many expected players, so made two games that will have up to 8 players each. I wanted to invite all of them into one game, but without the hassle of inviting then kicking, and making sure I did it right.
