Hey guys! Long time listener, first time caller. So here's my thoughts. I want to create an epic. Nothing uncommon about that. Most GM's try their hand at it more often than not. But I want to see if there are any players floating out there that might think that what I'm doing might be worth a shot. So here goes. Want to create a Star Wars game that spans all of the FFG Books. Edge of the Empire, Age of Rebellion, and Force and Destiny. I've already started making stuff and it feels very Star Wars. Which I love. I got a bit of Jedi, mixed with the rebellion as a backdrop with constant underworld interference. Feels good. What I'm wanting out of this is 4 players. At least one from EotE, one from AoR and one from FaD, and one free choice. The free choice cannot be a force user initially, but can be a force sensitive from the FaD books. If that player wants to become a jedi or other force user, they will have to do it through roleplay. Looking for a group that wants Heavy Roleplay. Barely if at all breaking character, or only for rules clarifications. I want players who preferably have improv experience, or have no problem supporting other character's spotlight moments (and dont interrupt when someone else is trying to have a cool moment). I want players who are not afraid to get a bit weird and allow for those heart wrenching interpersonal dramatic moments between player characters. And finally, I want players who fancy a bit of personal story in their RPGs. I will encourage each player to write a background for their character, and use that to weave the story itself. The storyline is going to be set beforehand, but im planning to do heavy edits to make it ABOUT the players and their characters. Not just an adventure you plan on happening across. I hope to think of it more as a television drama. Integrating people from your past, family and friends. Full of love for these fictional people and the betrayal that one might feel from traitorous behavior. There's no set time or date yet. But we usually play LATE night, around 9 or 10pm EST to start, lasting 4 or 6 hours. Please let me know if there are any interested parties out there! And if there are any ideas or even character ideas! If I don't get enough interest now, I'll post again at a later date. I'll use whoever responds to this as the prioritized players who want in on this fun experiment. Be forewarned, I have one player wo is already showing interest in the Jedi character, but is willing to change to the Edge character if someone else is flat out dying to play one. EDIT: Its also worth mentioning that the reason I am being so stringent about player recruitment is we are potentially going to be editing and releasing this on youtube and our website in the form of an actual play podcast. You might have an audience at some point to keep that in mind as you all respond!
