New Player LF D&D Group, Very Flexible Schedule, Any Edition, EST

I've always had an interest in D&D but I have never really learned to play. I am pretty motivated and open to any edition, as I don't really know the difference. Some afternoons and most evenings work for me. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me out!
I'm a sort-of-new DM; I've GM'd for other games before but never gave D&D a shot. I'd be interested in holding a weekly session, what's your timezone?
Sounds good to me. I'm eastern standard time.
what edition? If you are running 4th or 3.5 I am fairly experienced with both as a player.
I'm open to either.
That works perfectly, I'm EST as well. Will fridays at 6 work for you? Also, 3.5e
That works for me, I would prefer a week day if you can but otherwise that should be fine. Do I need to get any books etc.?
The Player's Handbook is pretty vital for character creation and class knowledge. I'll PM you a link to the game. Are you interested in joining too, Jeremy?
Hey guys interested in joining a game, very new to tabletop RPGs but i own the essentials players handbook heroes of the fallen lands, let me know if your going to set up a 4th edition game
Ummm. I think so. PHB2 legal? (Namely the Duskblade Class)
oh, and I am west coast. But I can deal with the time difference. I have another friend who might be interested in playing.
The more the merrier. I haven't read up on the Duskblade yet, I only have the core books and a few others. (DMG, PHB, MM1,2,3)
Proper Gish in a can. Something like 6 levels of spell casting and a nice BATB progression. It's a fairly timid class with some nifty abillities. The Magus from pathfinder is a more potent version, but there is a lot to be liked.
