The time for this game isn't decided yet, but I am hoping for after 8CST with days up for debate, maybe even having multiple days a week if the group would be content with it. If you have any questions, you may ask here or in the LFG post here . When the game is ready, I will be using skype to keep contact with the players, as well as use it for the game. New players are generally welcomed in my book, so don't be afraid of this being a game for "Experts" only. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________ This is a custom world built within Pathfinder's rule set containing stories that I created myself sometime ago (That I have yet to convert to a digital format, as it was originally something that I wrote in a notebook and am too lazy to type into my computer.) Originally I was going to modify my source material heavily, and attempted a game about a year ago, till personal troubles called it off. If anyone happens to recognize this, or was formerly part of it, this is the original world and not the modified version. I'm a new GM and an okay pathfinder player, but I don't like the ideas of playing modules or worlds that I didn't have creative input on, but like the idea of GMing if there are people willing to put up with me being new to it. So, I give you a story that is really close to me and one that I have already written things for that can generate themes and events for the party. I'm planning for a sandbox-y game, but depends on the players and how willing everyone would be. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The world is steampunk in theme, and follows the Victorian Era/Western outlook on it with many creations and themes that I added for worldly flavor. Expect contraptions to be where you least expect them, in the hands of people you'd least expect. For classes, while none truly "new", will be revamped and become more fitting for the story at hand. Names, functions, and even looks are going to change to fit into this world, but statistics aren't going to change. Magic users won't use Magic, but rather sciences that mimic the functions of it. Holy characters follow suit with magics, but some of their abilities are the same as original pathfinder. The Races in this story are only *currently* humans, of which I know will make people cringe, but there's a few reasons. The Fault is a vastly unexplored area, as well as one with dangers that prevent easy expansion. Eventually, the story should take players to areas with new races, which will open the new race up for RP. If you want the stats of a believable "human" race, then I will allow you to take those stats without sacrificing the look of a human. For example: Elves are a race to be featured later, but you may want to play one now. You can take their stats, but keep the human look. (I did this due to I was wanting a world where new races were just making contact, though it will take some time till they become involved. It gets old playing stories where all races have had ties for literally centuries) ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
