How do I?....

I want to add Roll20.net to my file exceptions for windows defender, in windows 10, I don't know what to exception, precisely.   I am wondering what the file is called, and what it falls under (file, extension, etc.) when I go to add it to defender>History>add exceptions button.
please, before you send me to microsoft, firefox, chrome, etc. tech support, it is the roll 20 info I need to then put into defender, not defender itself.  and, then I can do the legwork with MS to find where said info shall go.  I am hoping you already know where it goes, and can toss me a free cookie about it, but I won't hold you to it.  Cheers

As Roll20 is a browser based site and not a program to be installed, there are no files to be white listed. You will have to exempt actions as they happen to compile your exemption list. Roll20 does not use extentions either.
Thank you, Pat.  Is there any SOP on exempting an action?  Or, should there even be one?  Sry for Nuubing it up.

From my quick research, Defender is mostly for malware installed on the computer. I did not find anything about exempting a site (like you could with a firewall or such) but the question I have is this: Are you getting alerts or is roll20 not functioning properly for you? Was your original questions more preventive measures or the results of Windows defender taking action with roll20 itself?
I seem to have a situation.  I have been trying for hours to get my purchased artwork to my new map as a GM.  I have done the steps for troubleshooting so far, I think I have.  I am going to lay down as much info as I can.  I am nuuber to Roll20.net  and don't want to waste dev time on this if other players can spot this right away, I would be grateful.  Setup for the problem: buy art pack open new campaign set left hand function to "Map and Background" set right hand menu options to "Art Library > Everything > hit 'star' Icon set Library button to "Your Purchases" pick a library > scroll down > Pick random Art piece try dragging it down to Map, try expanding piece to full view and then drag to map nothing drops on map at all

If you are attempting to drag and drop from the popup library manager (the black star), it won't work. You have to drag it from your actual tab area as this is where you search for your assets by keywords. I would recommend you skim over the  art journal wiki page and watch the tutorial video at the bottom of the page for more information.
Thank you again, Pat.  I am grateful for the solution.  I really enjoy Roll20, you guys are fantastic.  Have a great day.
