What sets are you missing on the marketplace?

Hey Guys,

I will be having plenty of time to create new token sets/map packs for you. Is there anything you think is really missing at the moment? Or any requests?

Hi Jan, this is an odd one, but I recently searched and nothing came up in the marketplace under Totem.  I was personally searching for some top-down or heavy forced-perspective totem poles to add as token objects with transparency on an outdoor map. I had to use more of a side-view "From The Web" result.

Next, here is one that might be a more common search request, maybe this exists on the Marketplace but I could not find it with keyword: Round thatch roof hut. There are quite a few "hut" and "roof" on the Marketplace but most huts appeared relatively rectangular or square. I wanted a circle shaped hut roof (like an African village), and again, was able to find one "From The Web" for free but not a good one tagged with synonym of this term among the Marketplace results.

Thanks for asking for requests, if either of these fit your art-style and you produce something please make sure to link it here and I'll see that.

Blood spatters and blood pools for [Script] Blood Spatter and Status Markers. I'd love diversity.

Sounds good! I'm going to work on a set inspired by stone age style/tribal culture. Thanks for the tip! So for a list of things:

2 or 3 different types of totem poles
Hunter with stone head spear male
Hunter with stone head spear female
Hunter with bow and arrow male
Hunter with bow and arrow female
Shaman with mask male
Shaman with mask female
Tribal leader with feather headband male
Tribal leader with feather headband female

Anything else?

Yes, I'll be specific, to add. I was looking for a Bird Totem, and settled on a Pacific Northwest / Alaska style totem pole From The Web, with the appearance of wings and a beak at the top. With that in mind, a short study of totemic symbolism, I feel you could start with a modular pole-base-design and sequence it out to surely 10-12 totem types. Examples: Happy totem, scary totem, mad totem... in shapes of Bird, Bear, goblin/demon... possibly painted (colorful) and unpainted (wood/material) textures. That would give GM's some choices, for example if you had 2-3 tribes competing on a map (Bear Tribe, Bird Tribe), or if you had 2-3 meanings (celebration totem happy in the town center, protection totem scary at the gates of town).

Gold, the Orr Group have recently clarified a policy not to carry packs which contain insensitive cultural appropriation, so these should probably be carefully researched.  Do you have any specific guides or reference material you can share that would allow for proper, culturally meaningful images to be created?

I agree with the policy and wouldn't want to come anywhere close to any scent of violating that. Thanks for the heads up Alan. I'll have to leave that determination to the artist and the Marketplace policy. There are features like Henges (Stonehenge) in the Marketplace, I think they are great for RPG.

It is hard to create artwork in any form without being inspired by world culture. I think they are mostly concerned of inappropriate stereotypical references.

Mark what exacly are you looking for? I think there's lots and lots of blood already available? Or are you looking for something specific?

Blood spatter and blood pools.

I am unaware of any on the marketplace: https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/search/?keyw...
However if I search for individual tokens via the app (grumble) there are only a few:
Good examples:
Now that I've found a cache with many I won't need as many more (http://www.imarvintpa.com/Mapping/Overlays/Blood/)
Though if you released a pack of just spatters and pools with many tokens then I'd definitely buy it.

But that's the last I'll mention of it as I do not wish to hijack your thread.

I get it. But there are already a lot of resources out there containing spatters. Not necessarily on Roll20.

Brushes =/= ready made PNGs, but some do exist. Feel free to ignore my request.
Castles and Ruins! Specific types of adventurers like the classic iconic types! For Example: All races of cleric with a mace and shield! All races of fighters with a sword and shield. Not really alot of Paladin, Druid or Mages with robes! Again all races. Pre made dungeon tiles that are inter- changeable like the Dungeon Arts tiles! A really good outdoor set that can be any season or terrain type! Again think inter-changeable tiles from Desert to Icy Tundra and everything in between!

When i choose my tilesets i like to have artistic continuity so everything looks like it came from the same set or region! I don't see anything like that unless you buy from the same artist!
