Learn Roll20 Campaign - 5 Sessions to learn basics

Hey there, Several of us here at WizKids Games want to get into a D&D game but we lack the 'group' and more importantly the 'GM'. Roll20 seems like a viable solution but before we commit time and effort to the campaign, we want to get a sense of the app. I imagine that there are others in the same situation. Wanted to see if we can pull together 5-7 people to run a tutorial campaign. What I mean by tutorial campaign is; 5-10 1 hours sessions to learn the ins and outs of roll20.net. I play D&D 3.5 but could also deal with Pathfinder. My intention is to find a GM & Players that wants to get to know roll20 system in a live environment. To set expectations properly - I would imagine a bunch of hiccups and question asking as players & GM explored the action/reaction of the roll20 system. I am EST and would be looking for weekly session, 1-2 hours max, evenings (EST). If you are a GM looking to learn the system and need some Guinea pigs, we are your guys. Please email <a href="mailto:justin.ziran@gmail.com" rel="nofollow">justin.ziran@gmail.com</a> and leave a message in these forums. Game On! -Justin
I'd be up for that, if you're still looking for people.
How well in terms of familiarity with the 3.5 system is your "group"; like I assume you've played before from what it sounds and even if you're not I'd be fine with that but a general idea would help.
I have been running one or two session adventures for Players New to Pathfinder and Roll20, I have run at least 10 of these already they are usually well received. Many of the players have never played any kind of RPG, while others may have some Real Life experience. In all instances the players have a much better understanding of the Game and Roll20 format after a few of these sessions. If you would be interested in having a few of these sessions for your group let me know, These adventures cover the basics of both Pathfinder and Roll20, we are patient enough so that players can really get the gist of the concept. Everything is supplied so the Players need only their imaginations. Feel free to contact Ajax for more information................
I'd like to throw my endorsement in for Ajax as the Roll20 community's most prolific professor. Definitely get in on one of his games if you get a chance.
I would most definitely be up for this. I am new to Roll20 so figuring everything out in a tutorial would be amazing.
I'm up for this, I am new to RPG... tutorial campaigns would be perfect for me.
