Every other Monday night our 4th edition D&D game is scheduled to be played from around 8:00 p.m. until around 10:30 p.m., Central Time (9:00 - 11:30 p.m. EST; 6:00 - 8:30 p.m. PST). We have been fortunate to have a handful of regular players for most of the game, though a few other players sporadically have filtered in and out. Our group is looking for approximately three (3) additional regular players who can commit to being online and ready to play when games are scheduled. We prefer to play D&D with adults who have jobs with daytime schedules, because such individuals are most likely to have the most availability during the time window when our game is scheduled. We prefer to invite to our D&D game players who are not regularly interrupted by infants or small children, because this helps us efficiently spend our limited and valuable free time. We prefer to play D&D with people who are not offended by coarse language, references to drug use, politically incorrect speech, references to alcohol consumption, references to sexual acts, and other topics best not discussed in front of easily offended or otherwise impressionable individuals. That being said, we prefer to play D&D with people who can be mature about and refrain from over-indulging in the usage of coarse language, the making of references to drug use, the usage of politically incorrect speech, the making of references to alcohol consumption, the making of references to sexual acts, and other types of speech some might find sophomoric, base, crass, crude, rude, and generally socially unacceptable. We also prefer to play D&D on Roll20 with people who have and use either a microphone (headset), webcam, or both, because the Roll20 experience is best when it is closest to table-top gaming via the internet. In summary, we are looking for a group of normal, well-rounded, classy-but-easy-going adults who use the technological tools at their disposal with whom to finish our D&D adventure. Once our D&D adventure is complete, we may start a new Serenity RPG adventure or campaign . There has been some interest expressed regarding the potential for a Serenity RPG game, and, all things being equal, I would be willing to run such a campaign for players who are willing to commit to playing on a regular, consistent basis. If you are interested in playing in one or more of these games, please drop me a line, and tell me why you fit the criteria given above. If your submission indicates that you are a person compatible with our group, I will email you back. If not, you may or may not receive a response. In this case, no news (after 3 weeks or so) is bad news for you. - Noel GM, The Perpetual Motion Machine
