DM looking for group of players for Call of Cthulhu

Hi I'm looking for an group of players, i guess up to 5 or 6. Willing to play Call of Cthulhu on either Monday or Thursday (Maybe the weekend but that is sketchy for me) Starting around 6 or 7 EST. I already have the beginning of an Campaign set up and would be really happy to play with some people through roll20. (preferably by text, but mic is fine). Anyway a bit about the Campaign i had in mind, It'll be in the 1920's and in Maine. You will start by investigating the apparent dissapearance of an young girl off an coastal island. Be glad to have you with us, I'm flexible to most idea's an I'll try to be accommodating. You don't have to know the rules perfectly but it would be preferable if you knew how to roll your own character.

Awww yeah! Count me in man; I'm good for Thursdays! I'd be good with a 7pm EDT. I haven't gotten in CoC game time in over a year. I used to be pretty well versed and own the books, so a little rust to rub off. Hell, I think I've already got some characters rolled.

I would be interested in this as well. Only problem I might have is with my work schedule. I alternate days off continuously. Other than that I think I could handle it.

well alright then, I'd be glad to fit you in if you can come. I'd like everyone's input on the day. Or we can maybe only have an session every two weeks or something if that is easier. Anyway im glad to see some more interest for the game.

No i think i can handle at most six players and so far i only have one guy confirmed.

Ive no experience with the game itself, but have a great love of HPL and a few years of experience with PNPs in general, and am also in EST. The catch is that I could only join in if it were on Mondays, as I have prior commitments on Thursday.

Well you going to atleast need to aquire an rulebook to learn the rules and character creation. And i'm not sure which day it will be currently.

Also if you are interested, please post an character sheet and an preferable time for me to run this. This goes for everyone.

So which edition are you using, I assumed 6th but...you know what they say about assuming. Anyway, I'll have a concept and times of availability for you later on

I am using 6th edition, and thank you. And likely from 6-7pm to 11-12pm EST. And i might just do that.

I've always wanted to try out CoC, when you say 11 to 12 are you talking noon time or midnight, the latter would be doable for me. I just don't have books or anything

Totally in. A complete newbie to the Chaosium system, but a huge fan of Lovecraft and roleplaying in general. Every monday works for me, and some thursdays. Let me know if my lack of experience scares you off, or if you've got room!

took an look at your character sheet seems like you didnt spend any skill points.

I'll look at that tomorrow. I believe it is an issue with Hero Lab as I did go through my occupation and skill points. It gives the warnings but I am not allowed to spend anymore of those skill points. If you find enough folks, I'll be glad to give it a go. I'm still kind of newish to CoC but have been playing other stuff since the mid 70's.

Sounds good, so far i have you and one other guy who seem really interested.
