Hi friends. I’m looking for two players who would like to play Dungeon World. Dungeon World is a narratively driven game. This is not a game for players who want to sit back and be entertained by a story or a set of challenges. If someone shows up just to roll some dice, we’re all screwed out of a good game. You’ve got to want to get into character, to talk in character to the other characters, and to form relationships with NPCs and build a history with locations. This game will be created by us in the first session and by our actions throughout the game. The only premise is that you are going out into the Reaches, a region of wildland that has recently come under control of the Kingdom you are from. Whether this is a journey into a frozen north, a southern jungle, across an eastern sea, or out into the western desert (or anything else you can think of) is up to us as a group. What’s out there? Fuck if I know, we’ll go explore it together. This is going to be my first time running Dungeon World, but I am an experienced GM and the people I play with generally seem to think I’m pretty okay. I can promise you I’ll put in the effort to make a good game, and as long as you the players match my effort, we should have a blast. Let me just say that another way - a low effort player is going to have a bad time in my games. You've got to want to play, and you've got to show up to do it.
