Welcome to Summer Adventure Nights - a rotating series of adventures in three different rule sets (Pathfinder, D&D 4th Edition, and D&D Next). If you are a new player interested in learning one of the aforementioned game systems or a veteran looking for a casual game night, then this is the perfect venue for you! All characters are pre-generated and all sessions will be approximately 3-4 hours long. The adventures are written by yours truly and promise to be as memorable as a half-orc at a gnome tea-party. My D&D Resume includes a handful of TPKs and nearly 10 years of DMing experience. I've run approximately 4 years of online games, including a 9 month Pathfinder campaign right here on Roll20 that is taking a short hiatus. In the meantime, I'm looking to make new friends and provide entertaining sessions that will cater to both new and old players alike. Games will all take place in my homebrew setting of Empire Above and will consist of a short series of connected missions from the Haji Outfit. First session is tomorrow, July 11th, and I'm still looking for a few players. We will begin approximately 6:30 PM EST. If you are interested in participating at a future date but can't make it tomorrow, please list your WEEKDAY availability and the system(s) you desire to play. Until next time brave adventurers, I leave you with a little flavor: “Surely, you have heard of the Haji Outfit? …No?” With a flush of his cape, the vociferous man deepens his voice and recites what must be a rehearsed speech –
In search of fortune and fame, Two men set out to treasure claim. With beasts slain and treasure found, Their luck was good this time around. A chamber filled of jewels and gold, What a marvelous wonder to behold. As the men reached out in delight, The treasure shimmered in their sight, Out of the spoils, a devil appeared, Wearing a smile, the fiend jeered, “The treasure belongs to me, So take this chance to flee, Before I change my mind.” One man ran and one stayed behind, Bravely, he stood and said with spine, “Devil, the loot is mine, And I’ll banish you to the Abyss Before I’m damned to give up this.” While the devil laughed, The man knocked bow with arrow shaft, And let fly a strike, That hit the devil like a holy spike. White light spread from the arrowhead, With searing pain that left the devil dead. So, now alone, the man could treasure claim, And that’s how the Haji got its name.
