Missing Forum Topics?

Hello team. I am currently running a campaign for a group of friends of mine and ran across what I believe to be a glitch concerning our Forums. Detailed Description of the Problem One of our current forum topics called "Campfire" disappeared from our game forum. I was not given any notification of the post being deleted or why. I was lucky enough to have one of the post under the topic archived as an email but we have lost other subsequent post. So I have re-initiated the forum topic but would like an idea of what went wrong. Steps to Reproduce the Problem I feel that the root of the problem is centered around the fact that i accidentally hit close on the options for the forum post while editing a forum posting. However I immediately hit un-close or open on the same post right afterward and continued working on and providing new post. Once done I saved the post backed out and was able to see the forum Topic still. However, I was later notified by my group that the forum topic had disappeared. I can no longer see it either. If an admin goes into out game "Under the Burning Sky" they will see a new Campfire post that was just made after the deletion to replace it. The only other thing i could think of was one of post had cursing in it. I do not think this is the case but could the topic be closed for such a reason? None of it was personal just all geared into the standard role play. Is it possible that there is an archive of the forum post in-game (as opposed to the chat) and I can recover the other forum post. Or get idea of what went wrong and why the post disappeared? I would like to restore confidence to my gamers. We all love Roll20 and are excited to play again! Some are just a little nervous about losing hard thought role play in our forums. Description of Your Setup (Browser + Version, Operating System, etc.) I am currently running Windows 10 and using Chrome Version 44.0.2403.157 m.

Hi Dwayne. First let's check and make sure. Could the post exist in your game forum, but not on your game details home page? The game's details page will only show 10 forum topics. After 10 topics they will scroll-off the bottom, and will still be accessible in the game's forum. Please go to the bottom of your game's details page, and click "View all posts". Scroll down there, and check to see if you can find your old Campfires thread topic. It might be that when you "Closed" the thread, it might have moved to the bottom/end of your game forum, and thus not appearing on your game details page where you expected to see it. If you find the thread is still not there where I've described, please post again and I will provide the usual Roll20 Troubleshooting steps to begin the investigation of this. Hi Dwayne. What was the campaign name? I'll see if I can see it on my end and if it is possible for me to restore it.

Dear Gold, Awesome User Avatar. I did check to see if it had been pushed down on the post list. When view all post it is still missing. Also it allowed me to create a new forum topic with the same exact name which i dont think it would allow if there was another with the identical name. Dear Ryan, The campaign name is Under the Burning Sun here is an invitation to the game so you can look into it [Join link deleted from public viewing - MK (mod)]. Thank you for your assistance!

Dwayne, you said you had a link to the deleted campfire thread saved in an email? Can you PM that link?

Dwayne, I got your PM. When you delete the first post in a thread it deletes the entire thread. I restored your deleted test post and it should be back.
Steve, I really appreciate the help! I am glad this is not a bug in the system. Thanks for the fantastic support and system. Look forward to future updates and innovations. You have made it possible for people like myself who knew and loved D&D for about 15 years and yet never found anyone willing to play, an opportunity to experience and DM the game.
Glad everything is taken care of! Also, thanks for your kind words, glad you enjoy Roll20!!!
