Characters with default tokens dragged from journal are not assigned to those characters

Detailed Description of the Problem When you drag a character with a default token set from the Journal pane to the map, it creates a token. This token is not set to represent the character you dragged from the journal, it's just unattached. Expected Behavior When dragging a character to the map, it should create a token for that character, not a generic token with the same art as the default token for the character. Otherwise you have to manually assign it every time. Steps to Reproduce the Problem 1. Create a character. 2. Assign that character a default token. 3. Drag character from Journal pane to map. 4. Open options for the new token. 5. Observe that the value for the Represents Character dropdown is None/Generic Token Description of Your Setup (Browser + Version, Operating System, etc.) (A good place to get that info if you don't know it: http://supportdetails.com/ ) Chrome Version 44.0.2403.155 (64-bit) Mac OS X 10.10.5
Here is a video showing the problem in action: https://db.tt/Izq4aCWQ Thanks for your attention.

This is not a bug. The act of making a token the 'default token' creates a snapshot of the token as it exists in that exact moment in time and any changes made after that moment will not be recorded. If the token isn't set to represent the character journal before you make it the default token, it still will not represent that character afterwards. The full guide to default tokens may be found here: https://wiki.roll20.net/Linking_Tokens_to_Journals
I now understand how this is supposed to work. However I have to point out that the current association methods are both nonobvious and I think a poor user experience. As is evidenced by the fact that there is a wiki entry with a 10 step process explaining how to accomplish what I think should be an intuitive task, prefaced by the sentence: "It seems a lot of people are having trouble getting their tokens set up properly, to work with Journal entries." Is the journal/token interaction up for review in any forthcoming update?

Agreed with Ian F. that this is quite unintuitive and poor UX. I understood this to be a bug when I encountered it. I also agree that needing a 10-step guide for what should be a very simple action is excessive. (In HCI terms, the user model here does not match the system model. Specifically, the notion of "assigning a default token" seems, intuitively, to mean that you are associating a token with the character. Human concepts of association generally hold association links to be two-directional; in this case, the natural user model is that you are setting up a link from the character to the token, and thereby also a link from the character's token to the character (note the phrasing — "the character's token"!). This is reinforced by the fact that you can only set the single default token for a character, suggesting a one-to-one correspondence and therefore a two-directional link. Also, the concept of "creating a snapshot of the token as it exists in that exact moment" is neither reflected nor even hinted at anywhere in the UI. (It also doesn't intuitively follow from the expected behavior of things like tokens or characters.) How is a user to divine that this has taken place? At the very least, there should be some clear UI feedback about what's happened...)
