[Pathfinder / 3.5 Veteran] Looking for either a Pathfinder or 3.5 game. Paladin here.

I have a paladin build I've always wanted to try, and would love to play a long term campaign with it.  Veteran here, very willing to play with and assist newer players as well as DPS/Tank hybrid with a Paladin.  Would love a consistent game with a very fun and good humored group of people. I am currently based in US Central timezone, and the only day I cannot play is Wednesday evening.  Other than that, I am free evening times and weekends. I can also game multiple nights a week, though I'd still like some time to spend with my fiance :) Let me know if you'd like a mature (but funny) player to bring the holy justice to your group (no worries, I don't tend to play Paladin like a Holy Zealot of Righteous Fury.  It really pisses the rogue off when paladins do that).  I also have 7 pages of backstory for the character and am good at both role play and roll play, but preferring role play. Hey, thanks for posting on my thread about this.  I'd be more than happy to join up and try and get a group together, especially since you've got a lot of experience playing. Hopefully finding a GM won't be too much of an issue for us, though who knows. Either way, it's pretty good that our timezones and days seem to work out well, and I'm excited to see if we can get some more and get this all working! :D I'll add you on skype in a moment.

Yeah man, I'm trying to get a group of gamers together who want to play, that way it makes a GM's life easier in finding a group of players with enough dedication to band together coherently to play.  What are your timezones?

I'm east coast but my schedule is very flexible. I can make almost any day work except Saturday. I'm assuming evenings would work better for most people?

Depending on the day and time, I'd like to join you guys.  I've been reading over the advanced player and race guides a lot lately, and sort of want to try writing up a Smoke and Mirrors Cleric that uses the Smoke domain and the Trickery domain, while worshipping a stealthy rogue God (haven't decided on a specific God yet). I'm unsure if i'm skilled enough to GM it, but I've been GMing an M&M campaign with good success, so if you don't have a GM, I'd be willing to try. Unfortunately I have a tight schedule, so it's ok if I can't be included in this.  I'm basically available during the day on weekends, and any evenings (at or after 7pm MST), except Wednesdays, Sundays, and alternating Fridays/Saturdays.

I would be willing to GM for you. Timezone is PST, I'm available 4pm-12pm on most weekdays. I have a rotating schdule for night shifts, no more than once a week, so we may have to skip a week or change the date within the week. One session a week, flexible for once every two weeks. Give me some time and I can work on a game world/plot, if you're available to play those hours. Or we can just roll out and see what sticks with some general concept based on your characters. More options for scheduling might open up if the sci-fi game(weekends) I'm playing in doesn't pan out.

Hey Chi, That would be awesome!  It seems like we've gotten a team together so far with me, Matt, and Steve if you'd be willing to take us in.  I can handle a lot of their character development questions and mechanics questions (up to your discretion of course) so you can focus on storytelling, world building, game mastering, etc.  Let me know what you think. I have Matt on skype, if you all use skype too could start setting up that way.  And actually, later campaigns work out much better for me too since my fiance works third shift and it gives me more time with her before she works.

That sounds awesome. Like I said earlier if you don't mind a newbie I'd be happy to join. I'm partial to Rangers so that's probably what I will make.

I'll post my Skype there, along with some specifics about myself as a GM, what's allowed(I'm pretty flexibile in this regard, if there were any worries), what I need from you guys before we get going, how conflicts are settled, questions, and so forth. FTFY.  Also, if you don't want a two clerics, I'm open to other classes and concepts that are unusual from the AHB.  I could maybe be an  Experimental Gunsmith , or since we have a cleric and a paladin, I could roll up an inquisitor just to fit the religious theme going on.

This is where my problem with gaming is: i have all these things i want to try, and not enough games to try them.  Ok, i'm down to four possible character concepts: 1) Smoke and Mirrors Cleric of a stealth God 2) Experimental Gunsmith (must be a gnome, which some GMs dissallow) 3) Ifrit Imolator .  Basically a fire-themed inquisitor 4) A very angry Dwarf Exarch . I'm going to stop looking before i come up with more.  Bear in mind that in the last year, I've played in Pathfinder as a few other fun characters.  I have a Nagaji Witch (wanted to make a green-skinned witch, and this worked), and a Dhampir Rich Spoiled Playboy Art Thief.  I've also got a wicked Anti-Paladin running around in a different game.

Number 4 is the winner.  But he must ALWAYS be angry.  And his reasoning for being angry must bring the party to tears in sadness.  Haha. Honestly, I'd wait until Chi gets everything prepared before I'd think too far into it.  All we really have are ideas.  What would be better is to get an idea of what you'd like to play, strip the class out of it, and then adapt it to a class and race later.  So like "I want to cast fireballs while wearing full plate and dual wield nunchucks" and figure out the class and stuff later.

If you guys have room for one more, I wouldn't mind bringing some arcane magic to the table. Probably either a sorcerer or alchemist (alch being more likely if no one else is covering the rogue-ish skills). I'm currently available more or less at all the same times Steve S. said he is, above, though that may change in the next few weeks if/when my current group switches off their current Sunday/sometimes Wednesday schedule.
