LF: Player DND5E, Sunday's 8 eastern

The grumpy balding bar tender leans over the bar and says "heard that rag tag group of adventures are after one more to add to thee party, me thinks some one brave, smart & cunning is that yee?" He points to 5 exhausted but hardy heros, you see: A warlock, a cleric, a paladin, a ranger, a cleric/warlock and a fighter(DM) who now and then drops in on a side adventure that one of the others run. we are playing LMOP and are just about to enter wave echo cave. I plan to then run Out of the abyss. the games are every Sunday at 8 Eastern (5pst). We want some one who is up for adventuring, is on time & who turns up every Sunday (though we do understand once in a blue moon if you can't make it) start level 3/4 post your chars here

Hi! I would really love to be a part of this group as I am new and would love to give this game a try for so long. I am not so sure if this is a problem but like I said I am new but I am willing and able to try and play the game but also have fun with it. I also will have my character sheet that I created linked in this reply if you would like to look it over for reference. And if there is anything missing or needs explained, please let me know. Thank you so much for reading this and hopefully you will consider and accept me. Edit: I just wanted to put in my character in here just so that you don't have to pull up my character sheet every time just to see. So my character, Enialis Gaelin, is a level 1 wizard who is neutral good and has the background of a sage. Sorry that I didn't put this in before hand and I hope that it had no bearing on my consideration. Thank you for understanding! <a href="http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=514231" rel="nofollow">http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=514231</a>
Hey there, I've been trying to get into 5e for a while but did not managed to find a good group yet except for that one which only lasted a few sessions because the GM had to stop for personal reasons. I would love to be part of your group! I have a Sorcerer already prep'd up but I did use a Homebrew origin called Tinkerer, same for the background. Everything related to that should be in the mythweavers character sheet for you to see but if you dont like them I can change them. I use that origin because I just love the concept of a guy full of gadgets (Not Batman) I am available every Sunday which is perfect. My skype name is paradox_qc <a href="http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=514360" rel="nofollow">http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=514360</a> (Im still transcribing my CS to MythWeavers so may not be completed)
You would need to have a copy of the PHB and a general understanding of roll20 (using macros etc)

Hey i'm super interested in joining an ongoing group, and think my Half-Orc barbarian would be a solid addition to a group this magic heavy. I'm a long time 5e DM but rarely get to play. A few questions, how long do games generally run for? Are there any significant homebrew rules? Are we rewarded or punished for getting "creative" with our actions? Are magic items hard earned or are they like candy on Halloween? Do you use Point Buy or Rolls or an Array? Thanks, and happy gaming! (Not gonna put a character sheet here because i would need more info on character creation. Plus making barbs are easy!)
Hey John, great questions, games are about 3 hours long and are every Sunday. We dont really have too many home brew rules but sometimes a player might DM a home brew side quest or something, &nbsp;I try to make 1s & 20s epic-ish (though I don't use a table for this). I encourage creativity especially role playing but also combat, as per normal a bad roll could see your whole plan backfire! I would say magic items are in between Halloween and hard to earn, at level 4 players have on average 1-2 magic items or blessings etc (some none, others 3) but they have some flavour! We use the classic point buy for characters.
All that sounds awesome! In that case i really hope i get picked. Do you guys use Mics or Cams or just type?
Mics with tokens & maps, I'll get back at the one lucky or maybe the unlucky adventurer tomorrow night aiming to play this Sunday&nbsp;
