[LFG] Newish player wanna play Pathfinder or... anything, really.

Hi. My name is Tomas, and I want to play something. I'm not very experienced - I've played some dnd 4e before, but just as we started feeling comfortable, life happened - people moved and so on. I've also played some pathfinder on here, which was awesome, but I realized I overestimated my ability to stay up at crazy hours. I would like to play anything that sounds fun - I like a nice mixture of role playing and fighting - as long as I don't have to buy a ton of books to understand the rules. Pathfinder is the game I'm the most familiar with which would probably make that the easiest for me, but I'm not afraid to learn a completely new game. I live in Sweden (+1GMT), and have a varied work schedule. I'm flexible when it comes to playing time - within reason this time though. Last time I tried starting at 3am, and that was simply too exhausting. I'm not sure I'm experienced enough to be able to say much about my playing style. I know I like being able to joke around a bit, but wouldn't want everything to become TOO jokey. I also know I like getting invested in my characters, writing back stories, drawing them and so on. And for that reason it's more important to have a cool character than an optimized one (but also - a sucky character isn't cool. So I don't want to make decisions that are TOO bad). But other than that, I simply don't know.
Bump.
How does a D&D 5e living campaign sound to you?
It sounds very good, actually! I'd have to read up on the rules real quick - never played 5e, and I had to google what a living campaign was. But with a bit of guidance it should be fine. ^^
Ill PM you the link.
