Players Only: Out of Character

My bad for being out so long without a post, I've been incredibly busy getting ready for starting college on the 21st and I totally forgot to check in here.
So now we know. Cool. Real world stuff happens. Thank you for the update.
Believe me, I am kind of glad for the break, but I am lousy with being bored. I appreciate, Rev's interest in pursuing more with Qing. Though I have no good idea to do that. Sorry for not responding to the PM yet. I also appreciate, Engin33r's proposals on rule considerations. Play by Post is what it is. I mean I have a bunch of tailored rules that are exclusive for this campaign already. I think the survey suite still needed improvements, but we had fun with that. Long-term? Well, that is up to the group. You fine clever folks have that power. For the most part anyway. We would still need to take advantage of the Player forum to work it out. Even with lags and stalls, we can always come back and pick up where we left off. Right? In the short-term? Real world happens. Between school and vacation, I register somewhere outside of that. Kid is starting school himself, and the wife is doing the work commute to Chicago. So yeah, I have my hands full too. It's all cool. Stay Safe, and Happy Gaming!
Wow... anybody still alive? I can't wait till Thursday. Kid kicks off his first day as a fifth grader. Hopefully the wife won't be needed in Chicago for a little while. Time to get things back on track. Oh yeah, and then there is that job thing. Know of anybody hiring?
I'm here. Just waiting for responses to the posts.

Same, should I be posting in the the new post besides side tracked?
Sorry again about not posting, been trying to hang out with friends before leaving for college, got a bit side-tracked. Still alive though!
Hey Players, Good Afternoon. I hope everyone hasn't completely given up on this lil ol' corner of Roll20. Sure, I am in there like everyone else, that has to contend with real world matters. I know that I've touched on that subject before. Just re-reading the last entry above, reminds me about what sort of campaign this is. It will have a very different pace. Mostly slow, but far from forgotten. I don't plan to abandon or delete this. It is a pretty good collection of writing and shows participation, which adds to its value. I've made it public, in part for bragging rights, and then also serve as example to its unique nature. I know it is not the only play-by-post. Not bad for an off the cuff environment. I mean, it's here to stay. If we don't exactly reconnect right away, that may be fine. Well, I could suspect what the rest of the players might think, but I won't speak for you. Also to add, I am not burned-out. This game doesn't exactly cause any level of stress to me, as Games Manage. Sure, I might miss a beat. Say like with Qing's thread. It still has merit, but was no longer part of the main plot arc. I hadn't continued researching, nor added to that story's potential spark. Sorry. I was not sure if I would revisit it. Though, I may need to reconsider my disposition on the matter. Maybe it is because I have a little free time now, that let's me share this post. My own legwork on the work front hadn't been panning out. Though I do expect my employment status to change. Between school, work, family and other gaming opportunities for me, I should be able to monitor activities around here. In the meantime, I do hope everyone is healthy and happy. Stay Safe, and Happy Living!
Should have added... If players are interested in something different - of a different pace, then I have a daytime campaign happening for a different game and setting. It is a live game that uses this campaign fansite, which I am slowly adding to:  American Autoduel It happens on Thursday mornings. I get the home office to myself. Wife at work, and kid at school. If I could get away with it, 10 am seems almost perfect during all of the weekdays. So for now, just Thursdays. Let me know. Stay Safe, and Happy Gaming!
I'm still around, ready for posts whenever. My schedule doesn't really favor any additional games, but know that I'm still here.
Excellent! mbwahaha...
Still here as well, little confused on where we are at but still having fun.
I'm going to bow out. I hope that you all have great RPs.
I will have to as well, I apologize for leaving without saying anything, life got in the way and the last month was super busy. I don't think the text-based game is right for me, unfortunately, as it means I have to keep up daily, and it just burned me out. If I meet up with any of you on this site again I hope you can look past this instance as I typically don't do things like this.
Hello Players. I hope everyone had fun. I understand the real world priorities. I have them too. Nobody would actually have to leave this game. Though I am not sure if we will be able to reconnect with the campaign. It has been a great experience, and I did enjoy sharing this. Like I've said, I don't plan to shut it down, or close out the space. The nature of this style of storytelling, was a nice adventure while it lasted.  If possible, I'd like to meet up with any or all players in the near future. Maybe in a more live game, on Roll20, at a Convention, or Face-to-Face. Across the tables on the same side. Or maybe in a different venue, outside of table-top. I do appreciate the time you generously gave to this, and the patience. Thank you. Stay Safe and Happy Gaming!
