[3.5e] Character Sheets not saving

As the title says, our group is having trouble with the 3.5 character sheets rolling back changes that we make to them when we re-enter the game. The fields that often experience this are skill ranks, experience, feats text field, and just about everything it seems like. I'm not sure what is causing the problem, but I have a few hunches. One thing that happens often in our games is that I open up a character sheet at the same time as the player to try to explain things and show them where to make changes when they take feats or level up their B.A.B. etc. I'm wondering if having both the sheet open on my end and theirs at the same time is causing this effect, although we can see the changes we make in real time as they are made. The thing that is most odd about this is that not every player is rolled back when we log into the game again, sometimes one player keeps a few of the things they changed, like one player might have their new XP pool still from the end of the last session, but the other players won't. As you can imagine, this is becoming very very annoying for both me and the players, and if the issue is having the sheet open on both of our ends at once, then I'm very disappointed, seeing as I use that to try to teach my friends how to level up their characters or input new gear acquisitions. I hope somebody can give me some insight as to what's happening with our sheets. We just use the one labeled "Dungeons and Dragons 3.5," not the adventure one or whatever it's called.

There can be interference from multiple people editing at the same time, but the normal cause for fields not saving is not clicking somewhere outside of the field to tell the system to save the input. Make sure after every edit you either click on the background somewhere or into another field and verify that the highlight for the active field has gone away before closing the sheet.
Well, seeing as when some things roll back, it's many things at once, I doubt that the issue is not clicking off the fields, since you have to click into other fields to make many changes and then lose them all at once. I will keep that in mind though. Usually the main culprits we've caught so far were the skill ranks, base saves / B.A.B., and experience. Another thing it might be is whenever we play on a night when we get the red message at the top about connection issues, I'm thinking maybe whenever we see that message we should rejoin the roll20, but I would think it wouldn't matter if we made the changes after the message disappears. It would also kinda suck since we go afk a few times during the course of our games, if we miss the message or forget later on that it popped up, having it roll back our changes would suck. This is assuming that this is the cause of the issue. We'll keep a more careful eye out on what we're doing and I can keep this post updated if anything different happens, or if we feel like we get some more localized feedback for you. Sorry it's all so vague, all we know is that somehow sometimes a few of our character sheets will roll back a lot of changes at once.
