I didn't find any wall in the free library, nor on any website. So how do you do your walls? Are there links which can help me without you explaining it to me?
search for wall in the art tab, several from the web will come up. You can also find wooden wall, stone wall... If you want an exact type, there are many options in the marketplace. Or, as DKH indicated, draw them yourself.
I had trouble with this too. Some of the free stuff that comes up doesn't look like much because the images are small. If you make them bigger they look good and are useable.
Thanks, I finally found some, attention is important. Drawing is not an option to me. I have seen that on Dundjinni they posted many wall textures instead of walls made with the exposed textures. Is there some toturials about it on the Internet made by Roll20 users or RP artists on how to use this textures for walls? If not, I am gonna watch a Photoshop texturing tutorial.
I'm not sure how much "Drawing" you mean. If you mean from scratch this won't help but this is a good tutorial on making your maps in GIMP. I often do this for everything but for dressing the rooms I'll use objects from the art tab so that they can be moved around etc during the game. Make Dead-Sexy Dungeon Maps, Quickly, for Free! Most of the maps in my game are totally made from scratch and all the items i use are free! I am currently running an adventure set on an island with a lot of jungle maps. There aren't any jungle maps when you search for maps! I have about 25 maps for this campaign and a lot of outdoor type dungeons with different walls and floor textures. I would say to build your maps starating with the floor tiles first then add your walls in after you have the basic layout. I have never made a map that didn't change a little after i was done with it. The key thing that you have to master is the order of placing your stuff on the map and using the "to front" and "to back" commands once the tile is placed. I recommend you build your maps with the grid turned on first so you can get a basic layout faster then go in and move stuff around. There is no right or wrong way to make maps in roll 20! Experiment and learn what all the features do! Most of all have fun!
if your trying to find walls on roll20 sometimes type in another word and walls may come up also ive taken tiles and made them small and thin gave me some good walls and I took small walls and tilted them to make curved walls then joined them together..
If you are looking for map making tutorials I suggest checking out the Cartographers Guild , encounter or battle map material can be a little harder to find there but it most certainly exists. @ Brian A.
