Player LFG D&D or Other System, Willing to Learn!

Hi! My name is Joseph, I'm a 24 year old looking to join a game here on Roll20. I'm currently GMing a D&D 4e campaign through Roll20, but our group's play times have become erratic as of late and I'm looking to get in on the other side of the table for a bit. I'm most familiar with 4e D&D but also have background in Pathfinder and 3.5e. I am also interested in other games such as VTM, Shadowrun, and Star Wars RPG, none of which I have ever actually played, but I am willing to try new systems. Being currently unemployed I'm available at almost any time, assuming there's enough warning beforehand to plan around. As for time-zone, I live in Las Vegas which is in PDT (GMT-7). Thanks for reading, and if you have any availability please post here!
Hi, I am running a predominantly 3.5 Dungeons and Dragons Forgotten Realms Campaign. Please tell me a little bit about your expectations as a player. What do you look for in your gaming experience in a group? Are you a "ROLL-Player" or more of a "ROLE-Player" (Crunch vs. Fluff)? Most of the Non-Live Game activity, such as discussions, play by post, chats, and game info/documentation occurs in a private Facebook group. Therefore, I will need your face-book account names and/or face-book tag. It is only on actual, Live Game Sessions that we utilize the Roll20 interface. In terms of character creation, you have 2 choices. 1. Pick from a selection of pre-generated characters; 2. Pick a class from the players handbook, except for Bard, Wizard, and Druid (those 3 are excluded). Pick an alignment, except "True Neutral". Then provide me with a short, general summary of your character concept, theme, and background story. Please keep it to a maximum of 3 short paragraphs. Based on that information, I will build/provide an appropriate 4th level character. NOTE: If you have an overwhelming preference to play one of your pre-existing characters, alter it to 4th level and remove any magical, alchemy, and high tech items; as well as any money and treasure. I will review it and consider making an exception.
