Hi there. I'm Zack, an 18 year old GM who just can't seem to get away from the role. Before I get into my games, I want to talk a bit about myself. Despite my relatively young age and time being the GM (About three years now) I find myself being old fashioned in the eyes of the Roll20 community. I am not a large fan of the automation and fancy graphical maps. This said, I've learned to adapt somewhat and I make very crude maps for certain things I've planned (Keeping in mind I believe thoroughly in a characters ability to be random and thus try to not plan for everything.) As a GM I believe in freedom of players, which means that when running games (Mostly Fantasy Flight titles such as Rogue Trader, Deathwatch, or Black Crusade) I've created new weapons, lore, factions, and allowed players vastly superior freedom to that of the rulebooks themselves. You'll never see me deny you doing something as long as it functions in the game world, even if I have to improvise my own game mechanics. I prefer my play group to be capable of both being serious and relaxed. By this I mean when you as a hacker fail hacking into a terminal and the "Nuh-uh-uh" gif from the first Jurassic Park movie comes up, you should be able to laugh at it with the group. Simultaneously I should not have to spend five to six minutes quieting everyone down so we can continue. I also reward intelligent play as opposed to unintelligent actions. I host my sessions in Skype primarily and do not require video, only audio. I do require that your mic be of a decent quality, however, this can be worked out if you talk to me about it. I've been known to overlook some things for players I find especially capable. Now the games I run. Due to my freeform nature, I'm at the point where I grow tired of the ever restricted books that plague RPGs. Not to say that a game of Black Crusade or Shadowrun isn't fun, but when my Rigger/Chaos Techmarine wants to craft something and I have to make an entire crafting table because the book thought that the engineers wouldn't want to create things, it begins to bother me. There are two games I am in the process of creating, either of which I'm willing to do with the group. The first is called War of The Gods, which is currently advertised in the Looking For section and you can read more about it there. It is set in a medieval fantasy setting based closely on the Diablo franchise. The second is called "StarSword", which is a science fantasy game. It is not currently being advertised, however, I designed it to work similarly to Fantasy Flights Rogue Trader and the Shadowrun games, with my own changes and tweaks (Such as space travel and such.) You can contact me most readily by adding me on Skype. My Skype name is Zamorak789. Please specify you found me via this Roll20 post.
