Okay, so here's an idea for a campaign I've been kicking around - anyone interested in playing this kind of GURPS campaign?
You play a 150-point
character with a -75 point disadvantage limit (one required disadvantage, see
below) and up to 5 quirks.
The setting is
modern day, with no cinematic or fantastic elements – TL 8, normal world
Cultural Familiarities and Languages, no cinematic or exotic traits, normal
equipment.
Your character is
an assassin, part of a semi-freelance kill team hired anonymously through
various underworld fixers.
You are required
to take the Secret (Assassin) [-30] disadvantage, which DOES count toward your
disadvantage limit. You also need to purchase the Wealth advantage up to AT
LEAST the Comfortable level [10] – your “career” is lucrative as well as risky
(you’ll probably need the money to buy your “tools”). However, no matter how
much you earn, your Status cannot go above 1, because an undercover assassin
must not attract too much attention.
Neither you nor
your fellow assassins use your real names “on the job”, which is just one of
the many ways your team avoids being “compromised”.
