D&D 5th Edition, Saturdays EST 11am 2-3 Hour Sessions, 1-3 times a month or thereabouts...

(hastily written on my break at work... please forgive any grammar disasters that this may contain. 8P) From Day to Day is a home brewed D&D 5th edition game that plays 1 to 3 times a month. The sessions are short lasting generally from 2 to 3 hours and begin on Saturday mornings 11am EST. The groups needs a Bard that is built to heal, at least, as well as a Bard can heal.  If you are not presenting a bard, then a cleric 'might' do, but other than that Bards will be considered first. Three years ago you were living the good life, employed by Kenneth Burchman, and traveling the entertainment circuit about the country of Saphil - A Human nation with a spattering of Halflings. There is much to the backstory, but you can learn about that as you go. Wine flowed like rivers, and you were near worshiped by your fans. Up until the plague came that is. Crops failed, and livestock died. 1 in 3 died, the young and the old suffering the brunt of the sickness that ravaged the country. With your livelihood stripped away you worked for moldy bread and and unclean water, each night counting your blessings when you found a dry place to sleep. It was and is perpetually wet. The sun rarely made its way through an endless gray blanket of clouds that kept the world in thick saturation. You are miserable and broke and near possession-less. Your character creation should reflect this: You were a pampered brat used to getting their way, and now you have lost or pawned all but your instrument and a single simple weapon in trade for food, drink, and a place to escape the elements.  (Yes... you own an instrument of your choice (your prized possession), a weapon, and the tattered rags you call your clothing, and that is all. Adjust Character creation using these facts - which should make it easier.) You hear whispers of a village known as Kriff. You recognize it from the days you were living in luxury as the Tavern there, The Broken Horn, was a stop on the circuit. Without any other alternatives, you set out to Kriff... praying to any god that will listen to help you navigate the treacherous landscape that had grown from years of the sun-less deluge. You are surrounded by the yipping and barking of Gnolls and their pet hyenas. You curse the gods and wait for them to sniff you out of your insect populated stand of swamp growth... Message me your toon concept. Once we select someone I will close the thread. Thanks! P.S.  We have a game tomorrow. I am not opposed to adding a player then. Shoot me a concept and let me know if you can log in early. P.S.S.  One last thing to consider. We are an older group of people ranging from their mid 20's to in their 50's (me). We've collectively agreed to add folks who are somewhere in that range...
